Rene Dingo is a Bunuba man from the Central Kimberley, Western Australia. He is the WA Project and Engagement Lead at Original Power, working closely with Fitzroy Valley and Kimberley Aboriginal Communities to strengthen self‑determined participation in the clean energy transition. Rene brings deep experience in community engagement, land management, mental health and alcohol and other drug services. He previously led Gurama Yani U – Fitzroy Valley Men’s Shed, co‑designing the gateway program, an Indigenous employment initiative delivered during main roads WA’s Fitzroy River Bridge Project.
