Executive Assistant - Flexible Location

The Executive Assistant provides high level and confidential support to the Executive Director and provides travel, logistics and events support across all Original Power business functions and program areas to help Original Power’s organisational systems run smoothly at all times.

You are a highly motivated, adaptable all-rounder, ideally with a background in providing executive administration support and across teams, and you’re willing and able to learn new systems. Your organisational skills and your attention to detail will provide efficient and effective support to the team. You’re happy to solve problems and build strong positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners and communities.

ESSENTIAL

  1. At least three years' experience in a like role with ability to undertake core requirements of the role, particularly around diary management for a busy executive and travel logistics.
  2. Relevant vocational or tertiary degree or equivalent relevant experience
  3. Fit with organisation values and culture
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with other staff, service providers and partners
  5. Highly organised and detail oriented with proven ability to work under pressure, adapt to change and deliver to tight deadlines
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail
  7. Strong knowledge across the full suite of Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace with the ability to learn new systems and applications
  8. Good level of cultural knowledge with experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations

DESIRABLE

  • Familiarity with defence of country and or clean energy future areas that are a focus of Original Power’s work
  • Experience in working remotely with the ability to manage your own time
